1- Install Sound Forge, don't run yet

2- Run Keygen select sound forge 10 series, patch the install dir, but dont't close yet until register and activate program (defaut C:\Program files\Sony\Sound Forge Pro 10.0\);

3- Run Sound Forge 10 bugfix.reg

4- Run Sound forge, enter serial, choose register from another computer, next, next, save the license anywhere, you can delete it, enter the activation code.

hi but when i try this it lets me patch the soundforge 10 file okay but not the shared plugins one, any idea? appreciate any help as i cant seem to get past this (i did when i used xp but not since i using windows 7) ... cheers!

Hi Saoman, Appreciate this crack!

I'm stuck at the keygen phase. The keygen had problems fixing up the install directory.

Within the window which it asks me for the install directory, I pointed it to Sony/SoundForge

But it did not work, please advise! :)

you need to use the activation code that belongs to the serial you used
and you need to make sure you have the 'Production name' set on 'Sound Forge 10.0 series'

also I had the problem that after everything was installed, I still couldn't start the program because it just kept giving me the setup
fixed it by uninstalling and repeating all steps running both the keygen and the installer as administrator

Thanks for the upload saosman! But, does anyone know why the VST instruments in cubase 3 disappear when I install soundforge?
In cubase 'plug in information' 'VST plug ins' they dissapear yet they remain in 'Direct X plugins' WTF! Am I missing something here? Plz help!!

I can confirm this works as of July 13, 2011 if you follow all steps. Disconnect from internet before install/patch just to be safe.

Ok, I've installed, patched, ran, registered, and input the serial number...however, it keeps giving an error message when I copy and past the activation code, saying it is invalid. There are only four friggin' steps to this, I really don't think I did it wrong.

for me the key was to run the keygen as administrator and than the patch works, otherwise it shows some errors.

I rewrote the install notes to reflect this bit of info:

the install directory ( C:\Program files(x86)\Sony\Sound Forge Pro 10.0\).

DO NOT close this window!

3- Run the Keygen and select Sound Forge 10 series, then click on patch. After

patch is successful right click on the bugfix.reg file and let it run

(say yeswhen asked).

4- Now run Sound Forge program, enter serial(from keygen), choose register from another computer,

click next, next, save the license anywhere, (you can delete it), enter the activation code.

ok nvrmind stupid me so I got passed the step I was stuck and everything was going good until I got an "external exception" and the loading bar stopped at "Loading Poise.dll"

To Solve the patch error some of you recieved: simply make sure to run the keygen in administrator priviliges (on windows 7).
just right click the file and 'run as administrator'.
The other problem of expired license - i did not encounter it but I suspect that if you regenerate the license it will probably solve it.

it all works fine. BUT dont close the keygen after you patched. keep it open until you use both serial and activation code. thx saoman...and dont forget fo deactivate your antivirus program or else it will erase the crack

When using Windows 7, execute the keygen with administrator privileges, by right clicking it, and "run as administrator". This way, worked perfectly for me on Windows 7 pro.

DO NOT close this window!

3- Right click on the Keygen file and "Run as Administrator" (Win7: this is very important otherwise it will show an error when trying to patch). Select Sound Forge 10 series, then click on patch and be sure you select the installation folder. After patch is successful right click on the bugfix.reg file and let it run (say yes when asked).

4- Now run Sound Forge program, enter serial (from keygen), choose register from another computer, click next, next, save the license anywhere, (you can delete it), enter the activation code.
